The setup is really simple:
- Plug in the Butterfly Router's power cord.
- If applicable, enter the name of your own wifi network so that the router does not connect to it.
- That's it! The router takes care of everything for you:
- It automatically detects nearby wifi networks and "cracks" their password (works with both WEP and WPA passwords).
- When a network becomes unavailable, the router automatically connects to the next one.
- Its very user-friendly web interface lets you schedule your Bittorrent downloads and bring back the tranferred files to your computer.
You don't need to leave your PC on all the time.
- Your own network address never gets detected since the Butterfly Router never uses your Internet connection.
